When we started to contemplating finishing our basement we had the same concerns that many people have: cost, quality, timeliness and simply having someone in your home that you can trust. We interviewed several potential contractors and the difference between Matt and the rest of the field was unreal, a true contrast in professionalism. Matt was timely, detailed, comprehensive, and most importantly he was honest. The options were discussed in detail and during the entire process I never felt rushed or that our best interests were not being kept in mind.
As is always the case with a project of this nature you are somewhat “waiting for the big surprise”, the unplanned budget item, the delay due to missing parts or sub-contractor issues. One of the greatest parts of the project was that this ‘surprise’ never happened, a true function of Matt being on top of the project and ensuring things kept moving smoothly. The entire process was exceptionally well managed and Matt’s communication in a word was AWESOME! We always knew what was going on and everything came together on time and with great quality. Matt’s open, easy going nature and proactive communication along with a high quality job made this entire process enjoyable and stress free.
